Penelope Leather Loafer – English Red

Penelope, or Penny, is a college loafer with a classic line, made of natural sheep leather, vegetable-tanned. The leather is washed in the colour before the construction of the shoe. This means that the treatment directly involves the leather and not the finished product: the washing allows a more worn and natural look to be obtained, enhancing the grain and the characteristics proper to the material. Once the shoe is constructed, the leather is finished with natural waxes, which complete the colouring and enhance its shades.

The leather sole is washed with stones to make it extremely flexible from the very first uses. Some rubber inserts complete the sole and increase the grip, making the shoe safer even in everyday use. The inner sole is padded over the whole footbed, with an additional reinforcement in the heel area, and is covered in calf leather. The heel measures 2.5 cm.

It is a loafer with a classic line, but with a semi-sporty and casual character, designed to be worn easily every day.
