La pelle viene lavata nel colore prima della costruzione della scarpa. Questo significa che la lavorazione interessa direttamente la pelle e non il prodotto finito: il lavaggio permette di ottenere un aspetto più vissuto e naturale, valorizzando la grana e le caratteristiche proprie del materiale. Una volta costruita la scarpa, la pelle viene rifinita con cere naturali, che completano la colorazione e ne esaltano le sfumature.
La suola in cuoio viene lavata con le pietre per renderla estremamente flessibile fin dai primi utilizzi. Alcuni inserti in gomma completano la suola e aumentano l’aderenza, rendendo la scarpa più sicura anche nell’uso quotidiano.
